News - August/September 2007Words voted most popular Australian feature documentary at MIFFWORDS FROM THE CITY has had another bout of festival success in Brisbane and Melbourne. At MIFF (Melbourne International Film Festival) it was voted most popular Australian feature documentary in the Audience Awards.
WORDS FROM THE CITY is screening around Australia at the 2007 L’oreal AFI Awards Screenings which are also open to the public. Check out your nearest screening. WORDS is also screening in Melbourne as part of the Darebin Music Feast at the Palace Cinema, Westgarth in Melbourne on Sunday 16th September (7pm). And to complete the Australian Film Festival circuit, WORDS will be screening in (the hometown of co-director Rhys Graham!) Canberra on Saturday 3rd November, as part of the Canberra Film Festival.
Words screening in CalgaryInternationally, we’ll premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival on 24th September! Don’t forget to vote for WORDS FROM THE CITY in the 2007 IF Awards – hurry! voting closes at midnight on Friday 14th September. |
